BULK vs BAGGED COMPOST
The majority of our compost is reserved for use within the professional landscape industry and is pre-sold. Unreserved compost is offered to the public, but is limited to bagged quantities only. If you're amending or renovating a large area and need compost by the cubic yard, we are unlikely to meet your needs. Otherwise we're here for all your small, backyard, greenhouse, indoor, and (ahem) tent gardening needs.
DELIVERY
We'll gladly bring compost, castings, or blends to anyone in our delivery area at no additional charge! During peak periods, our delivery calendar may book one to three weeks out. If you reside outside our delivery area or need your compost sooner, you may arrange for pick-up from our local farm stand.
PICK-UP
Our compost is available for pick-up from our Hanover County farm stand by appointment. Please note that we do not keep prepared compost or castings on the shelf for unscheduled pick-up. Allow up to one week to prepare your confirmed order. We're located about 20 minutes north of Richmond and will send directions upon order confirmation!
SHIPPING
Our 3qt and 1gal castings are available for shipping throughout the state of Virginia via ground service during season. VA sales tax and shipping are applied to your purchase.
PLACING AN ORDER
Please use our order form to request your items, quantities, and need-by date! We'll typically respond within 24 hours during the work week. If there is no order form, compost is currently sold out. The order form will be available when compost is ready again.
